The BCHL announced today that the league’s upcoming Road Show event will take place in Cold Lake, Alta. from Feb. 11 to 13, 2027.
The Blackfalds Bulldogs and Sherwood Park Crusaders will play two regular season games on Feb. 12 and 13 at the Cold Lake Energy Centre.
The event will also include community engagement involving the two teams, the BCHL office, as well as some special guests.
This marks the first time the Road Show will take place in Alberta.
“After our successful track record of hosting this event in Northern B.C. dating back to 2020, we are excited to bring the Road Show to Cold Lake and the province of Alberta for the first time ever,” said BCHL Commissioner Steven Cocker. “As we have learned from previous years, this event is such an effective way to bring communities together through the sport of hockey. We can’t wait to get out there in February, meet the great people of Cold Lake, and show them what the BCHL is all about.”

After being named the Edmonton Oilers Oil Country Community last year, this is another great opportunity for Cold Lake to showcase its love for quality hockey.”
This will be the fifth edition of the Road Show. The event was previously held in the B.C. communities of Kitimat (2020), Burns Lake (2023 & 2026) and Quesnel (2023).
